Colourgalv | Process

The first stage of the process is to apply the primer coat – hot dip galvanizing - in full accordance with ISO 1461:1999. The next stage is the pre-treatment of the galvanized substrate by linishing to achieve a smooth finish on the galvanized surfaces. Removal of all surface irregularities is carried out by hand using surface sanding equipment to remove all roughness and spikes. Next is a multi-stage dipping process, which cleans and prepares the surface for greater adhesion. The material is then dried, powder is applied and then it is placed in the oven to be cured for 20-30 minutes.

The size range for the Colourgalv process is 7.0m long, by 3.0m high, by 1.2m wide. Larger sizes can be discussed on application.
